FINCA

FINCA Logo and Tagline

FINCA in SJC is a culinary concept by
award-winning SoCal Chef David Pratt.

FINCA pays tribute to California’s early days while drawing inspiration from the vibrant flavors of Mexico. The restaurant specializes in wood-fired grilled cuisine sourced from local and small regenerative farms, fostering a sense of community and a passion for an exceptional dining experience.

BGS was responsible for branding the restaurant, which included designing the logo, icon, menus, website, and exterior signage. The project also encompassed writing the web content and tagline. The brand icon, “F,” was featured on stoneware, the check register, and drink dusting toppers. BGS collaborated closely with David on all aspects of the project to bring his vision to life.

The logo concept is clean and pays homage to a ranch branding iron, aligning perfectly with the name FINCA, which means “estate” in Spanish.

Jeff Girard handcrafted the branded pottery which included cups, mugs, pitchers, check registers, and plates. Instagram: @jeffgirard
